Thank you for showing an interest to donate to Growing Up Wild!

There are a number of ways that individuals, groups, and businesses can support our efforts to provide youth and families with children the opportunity to have positive wilderness experiences. As a project of a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization called "The Children Are Our Future," all financial and in-kind donations to Growing up Wild are tax deductible. To make a financial donation to Growing Up Wild, simply write a check payable to “Growing Up Wild” and send it to our address listed on the contact page or email or call us to make special arrangements. All donors will receive a thank you letter with our 501(c)3 tax id number for tax purposes.

Donations of any kind or amount are deeply appreciated and truly make a difference in helping us provide youth and families with children with positive wilderness experiences.

Our Supporters

Grant Funding has been awarded by the Stewardship Council’s Youth Investment Program.

In-kind Donations have been provided by Sunridge Farms and Driscoll’s.

Volunteer your time, energy and/or expertise

There are a number of ways that individuals can donate their time to our program. Growing Up Wild holds several special events each year and we are always in need of volunteers to help run our events. Volunteers typically help with set up, food preparation, parking, and supervising children’s play areas. Volunteers who have experience working with children are often times able to share their curriculum expertise at our events.

Another way to donate your time with Growing Up Wild is to participate in our work days at base camp where groups of volunteers spend the day (sometimes camping on a weekend) working together to complete projects at base camp, such as garden construction and maintenance, chopping firewood, and various building projects.

Volunteers are also needed to help promote our program at community events where we have exhibit tables. Of course, there are always more ways for volunteers to help. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering.

Donate money to the camper scholarship fund
Growing Up Wild is dedicated to serving economically disadvantaged youth and families with children. Your donations to the camper scholarship fund will enable us to provide our programs to youth and families with children on a sliding scale to free of charge.

If you wish to donate money to Growing Up Wild, please contact us either by email or phone or simply write a check to Growing Up Wild and send it to our address (see our contact page for email, phone, and address). Either way we will be sure to provide you with our 501(c)3 tax id number for your tax purposes.
