BOYS IN THE WOODZ
The Boys in the Woodz Summer Camp is an overnight camping program for boys, ages 10 to 17. Based at a campground in the redwoods, youth do activities such as hiking, swimming, wilderness skills, archery, ropes courses, group games, sports, and a sweat lodge. The program also includes camping and backpacking trips to state and national parks. We maintain a 6-to-1 camper-to-counselor ratio, and campers are generally grouped by age-level.
Nature Now provides outdoor environmental education trips during the school year to secondary students in Santa Cruz County. It focuses on teaching earth science and character development. In 2017 we partnered with New School Community Day School to run this program. We recently partnered with the Educational Partnership Center in Santa Cruz to run a program for middle school girls in Watsonville.
