support refurbishing Our mini bus for taking youth on outdoor trips
There is widespread awareness in the field of outdoor education of three major barriers to getting underserved youth outside: 1) lack of transportation, 2) availability of camping gear, and 3) having culturally relevant staff. We have the camping gear and the culturally competent staff. We recently acquired a minibus to transport youth on outdoor trips. We now need funding to make it 100% ready for our trips. This bus is in excellent mechanical shape. Interior is clean with up to 16 seats and a food locker cabinet. All it needs now is routine maintenance like new tires and brakes as well as a fresh paint job.
